Girls Rock! Woman Business Owners Lead the Way!

I feel peaceful and confident each time I think about money!   If you see it in your mind you will hold it in your hand- Bob Proctor.   If your cup is too full there is no room for what you want!  This is the sampling of the wise words about 200 woman business owners were gifted at the 2009 Woman's Business conference hosted by Mountain Bizworks in Asheville NC!  I am a member of Mt. Bizworks and was lucky enought to sponsor a booth at this event.   The excitement in the room was palpable!  So many different businesses were reprented:  Crazy Green Studios, Mary Weber Landscape Architecture,Eco Reality, Jen Lepkowski Photography, Nourish Wellness Inc, Even a Balloon Fairy! 

The theme of this years conference was not initially apparant.  The theme organically unfolded as the day went on.  The key word of the day being intention!  Keynote speaker and Author of Living with Intention Adair Cates talked to us about our dreams and living as if everything we desire for our lives and business has already happened!  We wrote down our intentions and recorded a "by when date" for what we wanted in life.  Cates asked us to define "tension"  and we realized that many times tension creates a physcial pain or stretching that blocks emotional well being!  Intention was defined by one fellow business owner as "The melding of mind and heart behind a vision"
