My daily supplements for optimal health while healing
A week before I broke my leg I started an anti-inflammatory program to get healthy and lose a few pounds. I ordered all the recommend supplements and was excited to start the exercise program when bam I was sidelined by a major injury! I had a lot of time on my hands so I started doing research on the best supplements for health,wellbeing and most of all healing during this rough time. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that many of the supplements I already had in front of me were recommended on numerous Ostepathic websites and message boards. So here is what I take on a daily basis, my doctor said that after 3 weeks he can no longer see where the original break was! Not sure if there is a correlation but who knows! In no particular order here is the list
1. Fish oil

3. Alpha Lipoic Acid
4. Acetyl L-Carnitine

6. Calcium/Magnesium

8. Borage or GLA

11. Acai Berry- Touted all over the internet as a wonder drug I added it to my list because Dr. Perricone had it on his top ten list of best supplements. There is a really great write up about it and he recommends a few brands. Do not get roped into a trial of any kind just go to a direct website. I linked to it if you click on Acai. No free trial BS just a website that sells the freeze dried kind.
Many of the supplements I bought from Botanic Choice or Swanson's online or your local health food store!
